SB HBCU Majorette Boot Camp

One Class Weekly- Students interested in marching in the Southern Heritage Classic Parade, HBCU Homecoming Parades, Christmas Parades, and Mardi Gras Parades must be enrolled in a primary weekly class in addition to this class.This class is offered to ALL of our STUDENTS contingent upon 1. Students in enrolled in fall/spring classes and 2. Students MUST ATTEND HBCU SUMMER BOOT CAMP. Students are NOT REQUIRED to be a member of the competitive program to participate in the HBCU Class. They are only required to attend the summer boot camp. Please note class times may be extended and extra practice may be required. Parade appearance will follow company guidelines as it relates to hair, make-up, earrings, costumes, and marching shoes/or boots.

  • Parade Costume Rental Fees and Marching Shoes/Boots are NOT INCLUDED IN ANNUAL TUITION COST

  • Students interested in this program must attend mandatory SB HBCU MARCHING BOOT CAMP (see dates & meeting times below)
    June 10th - 13th: 7:30am - 10:30am Daily
    August 17th & 18th: 7:30am - 1pm Both days

  • During School Year Weekly Meeting Day: Sunday: 7pm - 8pm

  • Auditions are required for EVERY PARADE EVENT: students will only be selected for parade events that they are ready for. The class will prepare all students weekly for parade event auditions. All students signed up for this class will showcase at our annual dance recital for the HBCU Showdown.

  • Parade Transportation: Parents are responsible for parade event travel. Some parade events will have a mandatory student bus with an additional cost due to traveling city expected high traffic. This helps with travel logistics.

Parade/Recital Costume Rental Fee: $50.00 (please our competitive students thats enrolled in HBCU Class will NOT pay the additional rental fee of 50.00 due competition teams commitment)
*Please Note: PARADE/RECITAL COSTUMES RENTAL FEES are NOT included in annual/monthly tuition. A one-time costume rental fee of $50.00 must be paid in full by August 15th. Parade costumes will change from event to event provided by the company. Due to the many costumes looks and to help offset the cost. The rental fee will cover all parade costumes and cleaning.

3 Week Summer Dance Camp Program

Our summer dance camp is the ultimate dance party. Kicking off our upcoming dance season students will have the opportunity to meet and enjoy their dance friends. During camp, students will learn dance routines to be performed during the upcoming season. Students will also enjoy arts and crafts. Open to dancers of all skill levels, ages 8 - 17

  • Week 1: In My Belle Era- June 17th - 20th

  • Week 2: Belle Hold’em- June 24th - 27th

  • Week 3: Belles in Paradise- July 22nd - 25th

  • Registration Fee: $350.00 (Registration Closes: Monday, June 17, 2024) 

  • Attire: Black Leotard, Hot Shorts, Tan Jazz Shoes, and Tennis Shoes

Registration Includes:

  • Ability to Increase Dance Skills, Discipline, Perseverance, Strength & Conditioning, High Intensity Cardio to Increase Stamina

Belles In Paradise
Summer Dance

Our “Belles In Paradise” summer dance camp targets students ages 5 - 10. Kicking off our upcoming dance season students will have the opportunity to meet and enjoy their dance friends. Camp Date: Monday, July 22nd - Thursday 25th
Camp Time: Drop off at 7:30am - 7:55am (camp starts at 8am) Pick up at Noon

  • Day 3: Moana Lyrical Luau Day

  • Day 4: Disco Hip Hop & Glow Party

Day Camps: Fees include daily instruction and awards

Payment Policies:
Fees retained for summer camp enrollment are non-refundable. Students who withdraw from attending camp are at a total lost. One-Time Payment Due at the time of Online Registration

3 Week Summer Dance Camp Program: $350.00 June 17, 2024

Camp registrations are not confirmed until the registration form and payment is received. Registrations are accepted on a space-available basis. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments must be paid in full by DUE DATES. No student will be allowed to attend camp with a balance. 

Form of Payment:
You may pay online by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or cashier’s check or money order to Southern Belles Dance Company, LLC. 

Camp Rules:
On the first day of camp, each person attending will be asked to review and sign a document indicating they understand and will abide by all camp rules.

Release and Waiver Forms:
In order to participate in the camp, every camp attendee must complete a Release and Waiver Form. The participant Release and Waiver form must be signed by a parent or guardian. Please retain a copy of each signed form for your records and turn in the original signed forms at registration on the first day of camp. All participants are required to submit health records, insurance cards, birth certificates, and negative COVID- 19 tests 3 days prior to the overnight retreat.
