Pre Professional Company Members
Our competition teams are for dancers that want to reach a higher, more challenging level and experience competitions. Each team requires a strong commitment, diligence, and hard work. Each age group has different requirements.
Famous Baby Belles
Our Mini Team is geared towards the younger, more serious dancer between the ages of 7-9 years old. These little dancers are ready to take their training and experience to the next level. Dancers will take class 2 times per week and should have former dance experience. Auditions are required to join the team.
Royal Belles
Our Youth Team is made up of dancers aged 9-12 years old. This national elite team holds National Championship titles in Pom, Jazz, and Contemporary. These dancers practice 2 times a week and previous dance experience is required. This team is invitation only by the director. Dancers must be enrolled in ballet classes prior to acceptance.

Junior Belles
Our Junior Team is made up of dedicated dancers ranging between the ages of 13-15 years old (7th-9th grade). These dancers practice 2-3 times a week and previous dance experience is required. Dancers interested in our Junior Travel team should register for our June summer intensive. Auditions are required to join the team. (NOT OFFERED 2024 -2025 SEASON)
Senior Belles
Our Senior Team is the most elite team here at Southern Belles Dance Company. This team is made up of dedicated dancers in grades 9th-12th. These dancers practice 2 times a week and previous dance experience is required. Dancers interested in our Senior Travel team should register for our June summer intensive. Auditions are required to join the team.

Annual Tuition Cost: $1,645.00 Monthly Installments: $155.00/9 payments August - April
Competition & Recital Costumes Rental Fee: $350.00
*Please Note: COMPETITION/RECITAL COSTUMES are NOT included in annual/monthly tuition. Costumes rental fees are due October 1st and must be paid on time to avoid removal from the competitive program.
Competition Fees Cover: Competition events with each dancer competing in 3 routines per person for regional events and 4 routines per person at Dance Nationals. Soloist, duets and trios competition fees are additional cost per solo per event, not pre-calculated in annual cost. Please see informational packet for competition fees and travel outline.

HBCU Majorette Parade Class:
One Class Weekly- Students interested in marching in the Southern Heritage Classic Parade, HBCU Homecoming Parades, Christmas Parades, and Mardi Gras Parades must be enrolled in a primary weekly class in addition to this class.This class is offered to ALL of our STUDENTS contingent upon 1. Students in enrolled in fall/spring classes and 2. Students MUST ATTEND HBCU SUMMER BOOT CAMP. Students are NOT REQUIRED to be a member of the competitive program to participate in the HBCU Class. They are only required to attend the summer boot camp. Please note class times may be extended and extra practice may be required. Parade appearance will follow company guidelines as it relates to hair, make-up, earrings, costumes, and marching shoes/or boots.
Parade Costume Rental Fees and Marching Shoes/Boots are NOT INCLUDED IN ANNUAL TUITION COST
Students interested in this program must attend mandatory SB HBCU MARCHING BOOT CAMP (see dates & meeting times below)

Auditions are required for EVERY PARADE EVENT: students will only be selected for parade events that they are ready for. The class will prepare all students weekly for parade event auditions. All students signed up for this class will showcase at our annual dance recital for the HBCU Showdown.
Parade Transportation: Parents are responsible for parade event travel. Some parade events will have a mandatory student bus with an additional cost due to traveling city expected high traffic. This helps with travel logistics.
SB HBCU Marching Boot Camp (MANDATORY) June 10th - 13th & August 17th - !8th Cost: $150.00
Parade/Recital Costume Rental Fee: $50.00 (please our competitive students thats enrolled in HBCU Class will NOT pay the additional rental fee of 50.00 due competition teams commitment)
*Please Note: PARADE/RECITAL COSTUMES RENTAL FEES are NOT included in annual/monthly tuition. A one-time costume rental fee of $50.00 must be paid in full by August 15th. Parade costumes will change from event to event provided by the company. Due to the many costumes looks and to help offset the cost. The rental fee will cover all parade costumes and cleaning.
